Viceroy Hotel

Viceroy Hotels and Resorts, the owner of sixteen hotels worldwide, engaged PPI in the spring of 2013 to design simple audio and video systems for meeting rooms and common spaces throughout their new NYC property. The goal of the project was to give clients easy-to-use high-tech meeting spaces for local presentations and teleconferences, and to provide hotel common areas with a reliable audio system.

PPI designed installed audiovisual systems for the conference room and meeting room and audio systems for the lobby and gym. The conference room features a large format 1080p display; laptop connections at the table for digital and analog inputs; integrated audio conferencing via table-mounted microphones, ceiling mounted speakers, a digital signal processor; and a touch panel for full system control. The meeting room features a large format display on a mobile cart, and a two-zoned audio system with local inputs, so that the room can be divided into two or opened up as one. Audio systems for the gym and lobby each feature ceiling-mounted speakers, independently controllable zones, digital processors, local inputs, and keypads for control.
