Paperless Post is a rapidly growing online start-up that helps customers create online and paper stationery that reflects their individual style and aesthetic. In the fall of 2013 they had outgrown their space and moved into a new office in downtown Manhattan. As part of this move, they needed technology solutions for communication and collaboration. PPI worked with the Paperless Post team to build audiovisual systems that provided a professional grade experience on a start-up budget. Their main conference room was fitted with an 80” LCD Display allowing their team to present from their Mac laptops, a Mac Mini, and an Apple TV. Audio conferencing and videoconferencing was built into the room through in-table microphones, in-ceiling speakers, and a wall-mounted camera, and could be used for both traditional phone calls and for software-based videoconferencing services such as BlueJeans. The entire system is controlled through a Crestron-based touch panel running on an iPad. Working closely with the Paperless Post team and their interior designer, PPI was able to deliver audiovisual systems that worked with their design intent, business needs, and budget, enabling this rapidly growing firm to continue expanding.
