In 2014, PPI joined architect A+I and client representative VVA to begin designing AV systems for advertising firm Horizon Media’s latest office expansion. PPI worked closely with the project team and the client to design AV systems that match the ad firm’s philosophy that “collaboration is a necessity, not a luxury,” as well as its commitment to cutting-edge digital technology. The project, which featured conference rooms and common area spaces in a 30,000 square foot expansion into the 15th floor of One Hudson Street, was completed by PPI in the summer of 2015. Systems included 4k ultra high-definition resolution displays across all spaces to accommodate future ultra-high definition content; wireless device connectivity in every room for standardized simple & clean collaboration; Crestron touch panels to provide one point of simplified control; and a fully integrated board room with video & audio conferencing for high-level pitches, presentations, and teleconferences.
